Paul Geller serves as the Sr.VP of Business Development & Public Policy for Grooveshark.com His role places him at the crux of content acquisition, consumer electronic integrations and public policy. His previous role as the EVP of Information Products division at Grooveshark has him dreaming-up many of the data-driven artist development tools that are now central Grooveshark’s industry offerings.
Paul is a co-founder of Sponsr.com, founder of National Metrics and a board member on street-marketing firm Bigger Markets. Paul was a founding member of the influential alternative band “Keepsake”. He has written, produced, and performed on a handful indie and major distributed records. As a touring artist he bounced around from college to college, which included stints at University of Central Florida, and Columbia University before graduating from Florida Atlantic University with a B.A. in Political Science and a Certificate in Women Studies. He continues to play a role in the content creation side of the music industry as a producer and an internationally recognize DJ.
He is frequently a speaker at industry events on topics ranging from privacy to alternative monetization models for the music industry.
